I love old pictures of Hot Rods and Customs. I found this picture online and what an inspiring photo.

I wanted to post this to get some feedback from my VM readers. I would like to get a feel of what you see in the photo?

I see a low buck Hot Rod, 1935/36 16" wires, stock 4 banger engine, large horn on the firewall, chopped windshield, mechanical brakes, 32 Grill shell and a really tall dude in the drivers seat.

Picture Day!

I wanted to post a few pictures that I found interesting. Vintage shots are always the best!

Absolutely Amazing!

This is one of my favorite pictures, the 1934 Roadster races. All cars were 1932 to 1934 Ford Roadsters. How wonderful it would have been to stand on the side lines watching these cars drive by. Now if your a Ford fanatic like myself, the look of these pictures alone just give you the 'willies'.

Stance, Looks and Tradition!

Ever thought about what your Model A could look like? Sometimes all the pre-planning is never enought until you see the right one on the road or catch the owner of one at a show and start to eat his ear off for information just to get that right stance or flow.

Check out his picture. You know the saying, a picture is worth a thousand words...well this sure is.

It would make a nice addition to a blank spot on the wall or Garage.

I want to share a couple of my favorite pictures from last year...so lets do it! -

A shoebox and Hines... SWEET!

Chopped, shaved and nosed 40's Hudson. Awesome! Compared to a Mercury...I think I might just go this route first. Why not DARE to be Different? Cool!

An awesome blend of cars. The boys w/ thier toys having a great time; and believe me, it was a great time at that event!

The present meeting the past

Old photos are always a treat for the Traditional Hot Rodders. Seeing how they did it way back when, the styles, the parts, the makeup of the cars.

I have recently have had the opportunity to help out a friend who's dad was a huge racer back in the 40's and 50's; but recently passed on to the "Gold Road" in the sky.

The picture you see is a fellow friend of my buddies Dad who just recently passed last year. If I would have known his impact on the hobby, maybe I would have made and attempt to say "Hi" and drum up conversation.

Then again, why should there be a reason. Stop and say "Hi" to the guys who made our great hobby what it is today.

Without them, and these great photos...no telling what our builds will be like today.
