For Sale - 1959 Pontiac Star Chief
Got a 1 year only, Original Unmolested 1959 Pontiac Starchief, 2-door Post. 389 V8 and Hydromatic. Power brakes, Power steering car. If your looking for a boat with a long & large trunk area/decklid...this is it at a whopping 18' 3" long bumper to bumper.
Bumpers are in good condition and will polish up nicely.
This car has been stored indoors for the past 10 years. It has a few holes in the floors and trunk. Very solid car and complete with all the trim. I will be fixing most if not all of the holes in the car and trunk areas. I will also treat the floors and trunk with a rust inhibitor.
Motor turns over and fires. Has a brand new starter and solenoid, new battery, 2bbl carburator w/ rebuild kit, Distributor with new points, condenser, cap and rotor. The motor and transmission has very clean oil. I popped the valve covers and its got a thin film of sludge on it, but nothing to worry about. Original repainted 2bbl air cleaner. Power steering pump does not leak, lines look okay, but could use a replacement. Carb is fully rebuilt, now has new upper and lower radiator hoses, new power steering belt, new plugs, checked out the radiator - its a good solid, non-leaking unit.
Suspension is in great condition, nothing stuck, car rolls great. Goes through the gears nicely. I may drop the pan, change the gasket on the tranmission and inspect. Oil is very clean.
I am going to inspect the brakes and will report back on thier condition. The original Power brake booster has been removed (Work completed by Vintage Metal Garage) and a custom new brake booster with dual output master cylinder installed. Ill connect new lines to existing brake lines to make operational.
Interior has seen better days. Front seat is a mexican blanket away, backseat bottom has upholstery, but seat back is a bare spring.
I also have extra hard to find parts that will go with the car. Also have extra set of gauges, dash bezel, glove box doors and misc. pieces. All the trim for the car is in great shape.
This car has the hard to find Bonneville (long) tailight assemblies. They are in good condition.
Good windshield and Good rear back window.
I have started to strip the car of its trim to inspect everything and was going to start doing some body work on the car. There are 3 dents. Lower driver door, front driver fender and passenger quarter. For extra $$$, I can fix these sections and primer the whole car. Floors are now repaired in front and rear parts, new patches welded in, trunk floor repair is next
I will clean and wash the car and take better pictures in the daylight.
Drop it and make a cool Bellflower custom.
$3500 or MAKE OFFER or Trade GOOD TITLE IN HAND
I would be willing to trade for 49-52 Chevy sedan/coupe/slant back...or ???.

For Sale - 1928-29 Ford Sedan Hot Rod!

Every now and again, I like to post cool cars for sale, even on Ebay. This one struck me pretty hard since the owner is selling because of his recent unemployment. I hope this 'plug' will help him out with more exposure to the auction.
This car looks mean as heck and spot on in the traditional lines.
Sedan's description:
This is a 29 ford sedan built about ten years ago and sitting in storage. It's a driver and I've put about 200 miles on it. It rides fair but since there are so few miles on it there are some bugs that need to be worked out. The steering is somewhat loose and and the rear suspension needs stiffer springs. I have not attempted to adjust the springs that are on it but they are adjustable. The body is steel and and the metal is very sound. The fenders are fiberglass. There is minor surface rust in some areas such as the floor boards but it really is a solid car. It has no roof filler or windows. The lights are installed but I have not wired them, nor have I wired the guages. I have been driving it without plates though I do have a clear title. Here is what the car has: Glide seat upholstered in grey twead, A 327 chevy motor( runs good doesn't smoke) a 350 tranny (it's a little spongy but works fine), good tires all the way around with very little wear. A Bell straight axle, 9" ford rear. Four bar suspension front and back. Discs up front, drums in back. limewords stearing column and wheel. It has a hood and hood sides not shown in the pictures.
This has been a pleasant car to play with. I did not build it originally (it was build by a shop in Washington) but I made it streetable. I would not sell this car if Oregon was not number one in the nation for unemployment (you voted for Obama not me). Shipping is a negotiable option. If you have questions please feel free to call me at any time. I'll answer any questions you may have.
Call Steve 503-267-0232 if your interested in this car. I know if I had the $$$ I would be all over it.

Good luck Steve. May God bless you and your family.

1934 Ford Victoria - Project For Sale
Im a huge fan of 1933 and 1934 Fords. When one comes up and I know that I cannot afford at the time, I like to pass on the 'deal' to anyone else who may be able to save or own the same. 1934 Ford Victorias when done make a beautiful car. With or without fenders, the lines flow from front to back. Looking at the condition of this particular car; it needs a little bit of hard work, but in the end will present a beautiful piece of Hot Rod history on 4 wheels.
Here is some information I found from the owner selling this beauty. Give him a call and add it to your collection! I wish I could add it to mine!
The car is located in Illinois.
Owner writes: "Interested in this 34 Victoria?, ...nice chassis with matching title, stuck 37 flathead, no steering box, front fenders, hood or grille. Needs floor work, door bottoms and lower patch panels. $7500 or Best Offer, Call: 815-973-9304. Thanks."

Are you serious?

A 34 Roadster for $7500 bucks? Am I losing it here or is the price going up even on heap's? If this sells, its the only sign that anything can be sold on Ebay.
Wow!

Come to "The Lot!"
Inspired by Tradition and the Passion for the Cars, Hobby and Lifestyle; Rob Payne, aka: "HellboundGasser", with his heart and soul, finally put together the 1st inagural issue of "The Lot" Magazine. As you grace the pages, you can feel the past coming to life; as it's seen through our eyes today.
Its not for the "reading" type, but a grand example of a cool "picture" led magazine, that captures today's latest ideas, rides and past examples of what roamed our gone/but not forgotten drag strips and roads.
You NEED to add this to your library! It's truly a "solid" conversation piece!
Rob...Two thumbs up, your hard work has paid off and I cant wait for the 2nd issue. (though I with the 55' would have graced the pages of the first one, anyways - put me down on your subscription list!)
Congratulations!
For more information or to order, email: straycatec@hotmail.com
The magazines cost: A measly $5 + shipping.
