1927 RPU Project

Well, things are moving along on the 1927 Ford RPU project. You can see the body is now in very nice shape. The lines roll very well from front to back. Remember, this 'tub' starts in the front cowl area as a 27' and the back as a 28'. Im extremely happy with the results.

The doors; which didnt open or close at all, now shut by the flick of a finger.

Take a look and comment on our performance.

Motor On!

Largest Crash in NASCAR History!

I love vintage racing. I ran into this one today and how cool! The announcer stated at one time the cars were pushing 150 mph. If you ask some, that's quite amazing! Y-blocks, SBC's and all the overhead valves in making tons of HP.

Watch!

1949 Ford 'Shoebox' Project

Vintage Metal has the priveldge to work on a 1949 Ford Tudor or typically known as a 'Shoebox'. This car unfortunately got some unlikely work done to it, but we at Vintage Metal are going to make it right and bring back some of the cool lines it had lost in its previous process.

We have started to change the headlight treatment and am going to french the headlight rings like they did in the early 50's.

Here are some before shot...stay tuned for the after look!
